Public calculator

Calculator entries are processed in your browser. Shareable scenario values are stored in the link fragment after the # symbol rather than sent as a normal page request. Anyone you give a scenario link to can see the assumptions encoded in it, so do not include information you consider sensitive.

Professional checkout and setup

Before Stripe Checkout opens, the site collects the supported market you select, confirmation that you accepted the subscription terms, and one bounded campaign-channel category when available. The server uses those values to create the correct fixed-price Checkout Session; it does not accept a customer-supplied price or return address.

After a paid subscription is verified, the setup form collects the checkout reference and payment email, contact and business email, public business and optional agent names, website, selected market, business initials, logo-delivery method or public source URL, brand-color preferences, public contact or scheduling link, contact-button label, optional brand notes, and required launch, brand, educational-use, subscription, and sensitive-data acknowledgments. This information is used to match the paid subscription, prepare and review the branded page, and operate the service.

Setup submissions are processed by FormSubmit and delivered to Rent vs Buy Hub by email. FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for 30 days. Its anti-spam checks may include Google reCAPTCHA. Review FormSubmit's privacy terms. Do not submit client information, government identifiers, account numbers, payment credentials, or other sensitive financial information.

Subscription payments

Payment is completed on Stripe-hosted Checkout rather than on Rent vs Buy Hub. Stripe receives the checkout information, payment credentials, and transaction data needed to process the recurring subscription. Rent vs Buy Hub receives customer, subscription, invoice, payment-status, and limited payment-method details such as card brand and last four digits, but not the full card number.

Stripe may use payment information for fraud prevention, compliance, payment processing, receipts, and customer-portal functions under its own terms. Review Stripe's privacy policy. Never send card or bank details through the setup form or by email.

After Stripe confirms an eligible Professional subscription, Rent vs Buy Hub uses Resend to deliver the setup message to the checkout email address and a limited internal payment alert. These messages may include the customer or business name, email address, selected market, bounded campaign channel, and Stripe checkout, customer, or subscription identifiers needed to match and support the service. They do not include full card or bank information. Review Resend's privacy policy.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page usage and performance. URLs are stripped of query strings and link fragments before they are sent. Custom Professional events use only bounded categories such as offer, funnel version, placement, checkout-return result, and a fixed campaign channel. Names, email addresses, Stripe identifiers, websites, markets, branding, contact links, payment details, free-text answers, arbitrary query values, and calculator inputs are not placed in those analytics events. A checkout-return event is diagnostic; server-side Stripe verification determines whether a subscription is paid.

Advertising measurement and choices

The site uses the Google tag to understand whether a Google ad leads to a Professional subscription. The tag starts with advertising and analytics storage denied. If you allow measurement, Google may use advertising cookies or similar storage and a click identifier to connect an ad visit with a later subscription. If you decline, consent remains denied and Google may receive limited cookieless measurement signals under its consent-mode system.

Page locations sent through the site's tag exclude query strings and link fragments, and referrers are reduced to their origin. After Stripe verifies an eligible paid subscription, the conversion event includes the fixed $29 value, USD currency, and a one-way 64-character transaction token used to prevent duplicate counting. It does not include the customer's name, email address, raw Stripe Checkout Session ID, payment credentials, or calculator entries. Learn more in Google's privacy policy.

Retention and sharing

Setup emails are kept as needed to prepare, launch, operate, support, and document the service. Payment and subscription records are retained as needed for billing, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. Rent vs Buy Hub does not sell this information. It may be shared with service providers such as FormSubmit, Vercel, Stripe, and Resend that help operate the workflow, or when required by law.
